In 1971, the year of establishment of the College, the hostel was started, it is named after a philanthropist, Janab. Wawoo Shahul Hameed of Kayalpatnam. The mess is run on a dividing system.
The College became co-educational from the academic year 1996-97. Consequently a hostel for women became imperative. With financial assistance from Maulana Abulkalam Azad Educational Foundation, New Delhi, the ground and the first floor of the Girls’ Hostel have been constructed. Under the X Plan Scheme, the UGC has sanctioned funds for the construction of the second floor.
