Activities - (2018-2019)

On August 10, 2018, the Department of Business Administration inaugurated its Association Mr. J. S. Syed Mohamed Sadath, Lecturer (Quality Management Officer), University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia, was the invited speaker and delivered a career based lecture titled, Career Option Post B.B.A. The department conducted the subsequent guest lecture on October 3, 2018 with Dr. A. Abdul Kader, Director of Self-Financing Courses, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli, delivering a talk on "Indian Economy Today". The department conducted an Inter-College Competition on March 13, 2019 under the name IIDARA – 2019. Corporate Walk, Best Manager, Product Expo, and Business Plan are the events conducted. Students from various colleges participated in the competition. The department conducted a Two-Day National Workshop titled "Statistical Data Analysis Using SPSS" on 16.03.2019 & 17.03.2019. Dr. A. Thangaraja, SCMS School of Technology and Management, Cochin; Dr. A. Hamil, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli; and Mr. S. Shahul Hameed, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Business Administration, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli, were the resource persons, and students from various colleges participated in the workshop. The department also organised an internship programme in association with Big Bazaar 5 Days Maha Savings from 11.08.2018 to 15.08.2018. Five students participated in the programme and exposed themselves to professional and academic traits.
