DEPARTMENT OF BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS


Activities - (2018-2019)

The Department of Computer Applications began its Association on July 31, 2018 with Mrs. S. Jeya Mary, Principal, Sarah Tucker Teacher Training Institute, Palayamkottai, as the guest of honour.

She delivered a motivating speech titled, Different Ways to Achieve Success. Subsequently, on October 15, a guest lecture on Date Mining with Dr. Grash Jacob, Associate Professor and Head, Rani Anna Government Women’s College, Tirunelveli, was organized. In line with a series of academic feast, the department organized a two-day Institutional Workshop on February 11 and 12, 2019 titled, Two-Day Workshop on Python with Django.

Mr. Sabarinathan Muthu, Executive Manager, Gateway Software Solutions, Coimbatore; and Mr. Shahul Hameed, Web Tester, Gateway Software Solutions, Coimbatore, were the resource persons and nearly 70 participants took part in the workshop.
