Our PG Department of Computer Science Association Inaugural of the SAC TECH HUB was held on August 10th 2023 at 11.00 a.m at Seminar Hall. The association inaugural started with Prayer. Dr.J.Patricia Annie Jebamalar was the Chief Guest.
Our department association president Mr.C.S.Aravinth of II M.Sc. CS, gave the welcome address. Dr.A.Shakul Hamid, UG Aided HOD and Senior faculty of our college gave the Presidential address. Felicitation address was given by Dr. S.M.A. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice-Principal, unaided courses. Dr.S.M.Abdul Kader, Principal honoured the chief guest Dr.J.Patricia Annie Jebamalar with a Sapling.

The Chief Guest introduction was given by Mr.S.Essaki Muthu. The Chief Guest Dr.J.Patricia Annie Jebamalar gave a talk on the Mastering the Art of Soft Skills for Elevating your Career. She encouraged and motivated the students. This programme was coordinated by Mrs. V. Roseline, Head & Assistant Professor of the PG Department of Computer Science, Dr. D. M. Annie Brighty Christilin, Mr. K. Ganesh Kumar and Mr. K. A. Mohamed Riyazudeen, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Computer Science.
The department association secretary Mr.P.Muthu Santhosh of I M.Sc. CS delivered the vote of thanks. Ms.M.Ayisha Shabana of II M.Sc. CS was in responsibility of serving as master of ceremonies for this programme.
PG Department of Computer Science celebrated the Commemorative day of "World Wide Web Day" for the academic year 2023-2024 which was held on 01-08-2023 at 11 AM.
Welcome address was given by Mrs. V. Roseline, Assistant Professor & Head, PG Department of computer science.
On this day, a quiz competition was conducted and it was presided by Mr. S. B. S Younus, Assistant Professor, Department of IT of Sadakathullah Appa College and Alumni of our department in the year 2017-2019. In the Quiz, there are 7 teams, pair of 2 members participated in this competition. Miss. S. Kaviya and Miss. M. Anfiareegam of II M.Sc Computer Science are the winners of this competition. They will be honored in the association's valedictory function.
Our PG Department of Computer Science conducted the Guest Lecture of SAC TECH HUB Association on the theme “Data Visualization with Tableau” on 16th October 2023 at 11.00 a.m. This event aimed to provide students with valuable insights and perspectives from esteemed speakers hailing from diverse backgrounds.
The department association secretary Mr.P.Muthu Santhosh of I M.Sc. CS gave the welcome address. Dr. S.M.A. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice-Principal, unaided courses gave the Presidential address and he honoured the chief guest Mr.R.Saravana Kumar.
The session commenced with a soulful Qirath by Rizudeen III B.Sc., Microbiology student. The department association secretary Mr.P.Muthu Santhosh of I M.Sc. CS extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

The Chief Guest Mr.R.Saravana Kumar , Senior Project Manager from Iconix Software Solution, Tirunelveli deliver a lecture on the Data visualization with Tableau.. This programme was coordinated by Dr. V. Roseline, Head & Assistant Professor of the PG Department of Computer Science, Dr. D. M. Annie Brighty Christilin, Mr. K. Ganesh Kumar and Mr. K. A. Mohamed Riyazudeen, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Computer Science. The master of ceremony duties were capably handled by department association treasurer Ms.K.Seetha Lakshmi II M.Sc. CS. Their engaging and organized approach ensured the smooth flow of the event.
The "Data Visualization with Tableau" guest lecture provided an overview of what data visualization is and why it's important. And also explain the role of tableau in the data visualization process. And also provided a live demonstration of how to work with tableau and showcase its user-friendly interface and basic chart and graph creation. Attendees left the seminar hall with newfound inspiration and determination to navigate their own paths to success.
The PG Department of Computer Science Association SAC TECH HUB hosted a Guest Lecture on “Building a Full Stack Web Application from Scratch” on January 24, 2024, at 09:00 a.m. The event commenced with a prayer, setting a positive tone for the day.
Mr. S. Abdul Kadar, presented an enlightening lecture on Full Stack Web Application development. He offered a comprehensive overview of the essential components involved in constructing a successful web application. The lecture was rich with practical insights and real-world examples, providing the audience with a deeper understanding of the intricacies and considerations in full stack development. Attendees gained heightened awareness of the diverse technologies used in creating innovative and secure web applications.
The Integrated Department of Computer Science (M.Sc. and B.Sc.(Both Aided and Un-Aided)) Jointly Organized One - Day State Level Workshop on Advanced Trends in Computer Science (ATCS' 24) held on 01.03.2024.
The resource person Mr. Sabarinathan Muthu, CEO & Founder, Gateway Software Solution, Coimbatore, gave hands on training to the participants on Introduction to AI in Data Scienceand handled the sessions till lunch break. After lunch break the resource person continuously gave hands on AI Applications for Intelligent Insights to the participants till 4.30 p.m. and also the resource person distributed the Certificates to the participants.
On 12.03.24, a total of 58 participants, including 29 Undergraduate Students (comprising 14 females and 15 males and 29 Postgraduate Students including 13 Female and 16 Male, from our institution had the privilege of visiting HCL Technologies. The visit provided invaluable firsthand insights into the company's cutting-edge technologies and processes, inspiring the participants and enhancing their understanding of industry dynamics.
Engaging with industry experts such as Mr. Prakash Raman, General Manager – HR, and Mr.Thirumurugan Subbaraj, Director HCL, left a profound impact, shaping their future academic and career pursuits. The exemplary hospitality and professionalism demonstrated by the HCL team further contributed to a memorable and enriching experience. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Shalini, HR, HCLand the entire team at HCL Technologies for their generosity and look forward to continued collaboration and mutual learning opportunities in the future.
