Placement Activities - (2016 -2017)

TVS Training & Services also conducted the third Off-Campus recruitment drive for ICICI bank in our College for the 2015-2016 passed out students for the post of Sales Officer on 20.07.2016. 231 Students from various Arts and Science Colleges from Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Tuticorin districts participated. Mr. George, Senior HR Executive, TVS and Mr. Sibi Jacob, HR, TVS conducted the Drive. Three rounds of testing, such as, Communication Test, Online Test and Personal Interview were conducted. 41 students were selected. Among 41, 7 are our students.

TVS company will arrange for the boarding, travel and study materials for the selected candidates and Rs. 3600 will be given as stipend for 15 days residential training in Chennai. After the training period, the selected candidates will get a total emolument of Rs. 1,65,000/- to Rs. 1,85,000 per annum.

In association with District Employment Office, Tirunelveli and Department of Ex-servicemen’s Welfare, TamilNadu, Placement cell organized an awareness programme on “Avenues in Armed Forces” on 13.02.2017 for the final year and NCC students. Brig. Sangram Dalvi, Deputy Director General (Recruiting), Chennai was the resource person. 210 students participated in the programme and got benefitted.

The Placement Cell organized a Campus Recruitment Drive for Jahan Research Associate Pvt. Ltd. a US based company, for the post of Research Associate on 09.02.2017. Final year B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. IT, B.C.A., B.Sc. Maths, B.Sc. Physics, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Mathematics and M.Sc. Physics students participated in the interview. Three rounds of testing, such as, Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview were conducted. 123 students participated in the Drive. 12 students of our college were selected. Initially, the stipend for the training period will be Rs.10,000/- and the total emolument will be Rs 1,80,000 per annum.

  •  In association with IIT Radiance Bombay, Placement Cell organized State Level Workshop on Android Apps Development in our campus for 140 Students during the last week of October 2017.
  •  Vasanth Kumar and Balachander of our College were selected as a Sales Officers for ICICI bank in a Recruitment Drive conducted by TVS Training Services in Chennai on 20.04.2017.

iii. Off-Campus Recruitment Drive for ICICI bank

Three rounds of testing, namely, Communication test, Online Test and Personal Interview were conducted. 41 students were selected. Among 41, 7 are from our College.
