The placement cell of the college organized a TVS Off-campus drive for the post of Marketing Executive for ICICI bank on 07.06.2018 to the 2017 pass out students. They recruited 38 candidates of which three belongs to our college.
The placement cell of the college, “We Are Your Voice”, a service organization and the District Employment Office, Tirunelveli jointly organized a mega job fair for the differently able people on 27.07.2018. Seventy business organization of Tamil Nadu has participated in the mega job fair and recruited 420 job aspirants. Tirunelveli District Collector, Tmt. Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, I.A.S. inaugurated the mega job fair and distributed job offer letters.
To motivate self employability and women empowerment of girls students, the placement cell offered a part time three month tailoring course and Aari work in collaboration with e-Careerpluz Info (India) Private Limited, Madurai for second and third year girl students on 03.10.2018. Ninety two girl students have joined the course.
A career awareness programme for final year students was organized by the placement cell on 11.10.2018. The chief guest of the programme was Mr. M.Prabakaran, Founder & CEO, TiliconVeli Tech Park, Tirunelveli.
The Placement Cell organized a campus recruitment drive for Chola General Insurance Company, Coimbatore, on 21.11.2018 to the 2016, 2017 and 2018 passed out students. Four students were recruited.
The Placement Cell also organized a campus recruitment drive for Chola General Insurance Company, Coimbatore for the 2019 pass-out students on 04.01.2019. The names of 28 students were shortlisted.
The Placement Cell organized a campus recruitment drive for Future General Total Insurance Company, Coimbatore, for the 2019 pass-out students, on 22.1.2019. They recruited 66 students.
The Placement Cell organized a campus drive for Alcance Technologies, Chennai on 21.02.2019. They recruited 12 candidates.
The Placement Cell organized a campus recruitment drive for the post of Sales Officer for ICICI Bank, in collaboration with TVS training service, Chennai, on 27.03.2019. The names of 54 students were shortlisted.
To promote self employability and women empowerment among female students, the Placement Cell conducted a one-day training programme on Jewel Making, in collaboration with Juhaifa Jewel Making Institute, Kayalpatnam, on 04.03.2019. Twenty-four female students benefited from it.
