The department of Psychology, conducted an event on Suicide Prevention on 12th and 14th of September 2022 in sadakathullah appa college .The students got a chance to display their talents in the form of flash mob,song and mime to inculcate the idea into the minds of the youth that suicide isn’t the solution.
The commemoration of world mental health day happened on 12th October 2022 in Sadakathullah Appa College conducted in their auditorium . Dr.Noorul Hasan ,Psychiatry from Sneka Mind Care ,Tirunelveli was the chief guest for this special event. He enunciated the resource’ speech about MIND YOUR MIND .The students of Psychology department were asked to bring out their creativity in the form of illustrations . The department also arranged a exhibition of the illustrations by the students. The medals were distributed to the winners and the runners up by the honorable Chief Guest.
