Dr.M.Sithi Jameela, COE & Head, UG Department of Zoology felicitated the gathering.Dr.J.Shifa Vanmathi, Assistant Professor, introduced the chief guest. Dr.Raja.D.Petchimuthu, Associate Professor, V.O.Chidamabaram College, Thoothukudi. was the chief guest. He motivated the students with his special talk on ‘Power up your Passion”. PG Department of Zoology, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli organised an industrial visit to " Mandapam CMFRI, Rameswaram " on 16.12.2021 as per the syllabus given in “BIOLOGY OF INVERTEBRATES AND CHORDATES PRACTICALS”. Dr. A. Mohaideen, Assistant Professor, Dr. J. Shifa Vanmathi, Assistant Professor and Mr. M. Sindha Mather, Lab Assistant along with 18 students of I M.SC.Zoology has visited the museum of CMFRI Mandapam. We have collected animal sample from the nearby sea shore for preservation. The Industrial Visit was very informative and useful for the students.

PG Department of Zoology, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli organised an industrial visit to "Biotechnology laboratory in Mother Teresa University, Kodaikanal " on 31.03.2022 as per the syllabus given in “GENETICS AND EVOLUTION & ANIMAL BIOTECHNOLOGY PRACTICALS”. Dr. A. Mohaideen, Assistant Professor, Dr. J. Shifa Vanmathi, Assistant Professor and Mr. M. Sindha Mather, Lab Assistant along with 18 students of I M.SC.Zoology has visited the Biotechnology laboratory in Mother Teresa Univerity. We have learnt principles and handling mechanism of instruments related to biotechnology. The Industrial Visit was very informative and useful for the students

Dr. R. Soranam, Assistant Professor, SPK Centre for Environmental Sciences, M. S. University, Alwarkurichi was the chief guest. He delivered a speech on the title “Western Ghats - An Overview” Totally 60 students and 10 faculty members from the Department were participated and benefited by the programme. Dr. A. Mohaideen Assistant Professor proposed the vote of the thanks.
