Activities - (2017-2018)

The Department of Commerce (Finance) had its Association inauguration on 28.08. 2017. Mr. CMA. S. Jeyakumar, Former Head, Department of Commerce, Sadakathullah Appa College, spoke on the topic Yes I Can. The Department conducted its first guest lecture on 28.10.2017 on the topic Islamic Finance. Mr. M. Abul Hassan, Assistant Professor, Department of Islamic Studies, Sadakathullah Appa College, was the Resource Person. The Department conducted its second guest lecture on 06.03.2018 with Dr. R. Kasilingam, Associate Professor, Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University, was the Resource Person. He delivered a special lecture on Investment Planning.

A One day Seminar with the topic “Yes I Can” was conducted on 28.08.2017. Mr.CMA.S.JeyaKumar, M.Com.,M.A.,(Eco).,ACMA.,Former Head and Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, SadakathullahAppa College was the Resource Person. One hundred and thirty participants took part in the event.

A Guest Lecture “Investment Planning” was organized by the integrated Department of Commerce Finance on 06.03.2018. The Chief Guests were Dr R.Kasilingam, Associate Professor from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. A total of 185 participants took part in the event.
