Activities (2016-2017)

The Department of Computer Science (Aided) commenced its academic year 2016 with its Association Inauguration on October 15. Er. A. Mohamed Saleem, Software Developer, Technical Care Software & Services, Tirunelveli, was the guest of honour and delivered a special lecture on Android App Development. A UGC-sponsored State Level Seminar on Android App Development (WAAD2017) was organized on February 17, 2017.

The Department of Computer Science inaugurated its association on September 01, 2016 with Dr. A.H. Mohideen Badshah as the Guest Speaker. In the same month, the Department organized a One Day Inter-College Workshop on Theory of Big Data and Cloud Computing on 26th. In line with this, a Guest Lecture on Android Apps Development Programme was organized on October 06, 2016. Mr. A. Mohamed Saleem, Software Engineer, TCSS, addressed the gathering. The Department of Computer Applications started its departmental activities by inaugurating its association on August 31, 2016. On September 9th the Department of Information Technology inaugurated its Association with Dr. B. Beneson Thilagar Christadoss, Associate Professor of English, St. John’s College, Palayamkottai. The guest of honour delivered his inaugural address to both students and the faculty.
