On 13/08/2018, a Guest lecture was organized by the Post Graduate Department of English. Prof. Na. Sivasubramanian, delivered a lecture on “New Theories in Tamil Literature”.
On 12/10/2018, a National Seminar was organized by the Post Graduate Department of English on “Women’s Writings of the 21st Century : perspectives and challenges ”. Dr.Sanchitha, was the Chief Guest. Through her inspiring words, she captured the whole bundle of audience. The Principal Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik presided over the function. .
The English Literary Association of the Department of English UG & PG (SF), Sadakathullah Appa College organized a guest lecture on 08/04/2019. Dr. T. Munira, Professor, Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University, was the guest of honour and delivered a guest lecture on the topic, “Soft Skills with a Focus on Communication Skills”.
The Post Graduate Department of English organized a industrial visit to the Mother Teresa University at Kodaikanal as an Educational tour. It was a one day trip for all the second year pg English students on 4th of October 2018.
