An inter-collegiate Islamic Quiz Programme was held on 12.02.2019 The programme started with the recitation from the Quran. Mr. M. J. Ubaiyathulla, Head of the Department of Arabic welcomed to the participants and Alhaj. T.E.S. Fathu Rabbani, Secretary and Correpondent, Sadakathullah Appa College, delivered the presidential address, Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal, Sadakathullah Appa College felicitated , and Dr. K.F. Jaleel Ahmad, Asst. Prof. of Arabic, Dr. Zakir Hussain College, Ilayankudi, Sivagangai Dt. was Quiz master.
Alhaj. T.E.S. Fathu Rabbani, Secretary and Correpondent, Sadakathullah Appa College distributed Shields and the certificates for achieved students. Finally Mr. Mohamed Rafeek Asst. Prof. of Arabic proposed the vote of thanks.
A one Day State Level seminar on “HOLY QURAN: THE BEST APPROACH FOR THE BEST OUTCOMES” was held on 23/10/2019. The programme started with the recitation from the Quran. Mr. M. J.Ubaiyathulla, Head of the Department of Arabic welcomed to the participants and the presidential address was given by Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal, SadakathullahAppa College, and Prof. A. Abdul Hayu, Former Head, Dept. of Arabic, SadakathullahAppa College, Tirunelveli delivered the keynote address.

Mohamed Ibrahim, Anwari,Professor, Faizul Anwar Arabic College,Kadayanallur.Four Participants from the various colleges presented their papers on different sub topics of the seminar.
Nearly 200 students from our college who are studying Arabic as Part-I, especially the students from Department of Islamic Studies participated in the conference with interested and motivated.
In the valedictory function the director of self-financing courses, Dr.A. Abdul Kathar gave the felicitation address gave the felicitation address and finally distributed the certificates. Mr.Mohamed Rafeek Asst. Prof. of Arabic proposedthe vote of thanks.
The participants gave their feedbacks that the theme of the seminar really enlightened our knowledge and motivated to do the research in the field of the Holy Quran. It was very effective and more informative to the participants.
The Department of Arabic organized a guest lecture - I on “Moral Ethics in the light of Quran and Hadeeth ” on 25/02/2019. Prof. A. Abdul Hayu, Former Hod Of Arabic, Sadakathullah Appa College, Rahmath Nagar, Tirunelveliwas the speaker. Nearly one hundred students participated in the programme.
The Department of Arabic organized a guest lecture - II on “Personality Development skills in the Prophetic way” on 01/03/2019. DR. K.F. JALEEL AHAMED, Assistant Professor& HOD of Arabic, Dr. ZAKIR HUSAIN COLLEGE, ILAYANGUDI, was the speaker. Nearly one hundred and ten students participated in the programme.
The Department of Arabic organized a guest lecture - I on “THE UNIQUENESS OF THE ARABIC LANGUAGE” on 23/09/2019. Dr. M. SHAMSUDEEN JAMALI, Guest Lecturer, Dept. of Arabic, University of Madras, was the speaker. Nearly ninety students from the various department participated in the programme.
