Activities - (2018-2019)

The PG and Research Department of Commerce inaugurated its Association on 26.09.2018 and Mr. C. S. M. V. Mahadevan, ICSI Counsellor, was the chief guest and addressed the gathering with his lecture titled, Company Secretaryship Courses. The department conducted a guest lecture on 31.10.2018 and Mr. Sheik was the resource person and delivered a talk on the pursuit of courses such as C.A, C. M. A and I.C.W.A. The department organized a National Level Seminar titled Current Business Economic Conditions in India on 14.02.2019, where nearly 450 students from our college as well as from various colleges of India participated. Dr. C. Thilagam, Professor of Commerce, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli; Dr. R. Vasantha Gopal, Associate Professor of Commerce, School of Distance Education, University of Kerela, Trivandrum; Dr. S. Madhavan, Professor & Head, Department of Management Studies, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, were the resource persons of the seminar. The departmental activities came to an end with a valedictory address by Mr. Sundaram, Mangai Vidyashram, Tirunelveli, on 01.03.2019.
