The UG Department of English (Unaided), SadakathullahAppa College organized the inauguration of Literary Association Activities on 17-11-2021 at the college auditorium The Principal of our college, Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address in the august presence of the guest of honour. Dr. S.M. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice- Principal of Unaided Courses and Dr. S. Mohamed Haneef, Head of the UG department of English (Aided) gave the felicitation address. Mr. S. Garret Raja Immanuel, Assistant Professor of English (Aided), Nazerath Margoschis College was the guest of honour who delivered the inaugural address on the topic, “Hermeneutics of Suspicion: Reading between the lines.” Mrs.Selvi proposed the vote of thanks.
The UG Department of English (Unaided), Sadakathullah Appa College coordinated a guest lecture on the occasion of birth anniversary of great Tamil poet Bharathiyar at the college Auditorium on 11-12-2021. Prof. Jebaraj Kingsley Zechariah, Assistant Professor, Research Department of English, St. John’s College was the guest of honour who delivered the inaugural address on the topic, “Gender Equity in Literature.” There were lot of profitable information for the students.
The PG and Research Department of Microbiology Association guest lecture was conducted on 14th February 2025 at 10.30 am in our college Auditorium. Mr. Sirajudeen, III B.Sc. Microbiology recited Qirath, Dr. S.M. Abdul Kader, Principal, honored the chief guest Dr. M. Jayahar Bharathi, Quality Manager, Royal Hospital, Tirunelveli with a shawl.

Abdul Kader, Principal presided over the function and awarded the winners of “Making of Andrea del Sartos” Competition that was conducted on 1.6.2022. Dr. S.M. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice- Principal of Unaided Courses and Dr. S. Mohamed Haneef, Head of the UG department of English (Aided) felicitated the gathering. Prof.U. Kethrapaul, Assistant Professor, Research Department of English, St. John’s College was the guest of honour addressed the students on the topic,” Dynamism in Literature.”

The UG department of English (Unaided), SadakathullahAppa College organised a Literary Exhibition for the UG English (Unaided) students to identify their unique skills and talents in perceiving literature on 15-06-2022. Prof. A. Maria Ignatius, Assistant Professor, Research Department of English, St. Xavier’s College was the chief guest and appreciated the students efforts and craftsmanship in the portrayal of varied models of literature.
