The UG Department of English (Unaided) inaugurated its Literary Association on 02/09/2022 at 4:30 pm in the College Seminar Hall II. Mr. Phinehash, the Founder and Managing Director of YES BLAZERS, consented to be the Resource Person. He delivered a talk on Learn to Pursue Knowledge, Not to Survive. The talk was useful to students. Students could understand the importance and value of a College Degree. The talk shed light on the possible future prospective that the students should have using the Degree. The Principal Dr. S M Abdul Kader and the Vice Principal Dr SMA Syed Muhammed Khaja, the Dean of Arts Dr S Mohamed Haneef and the faculty from the Department of English were present in the function. The UG Department of English (Unaided) organized a Guest Lecture with a view of celebrating the World Tourism Day on 27/09/2022 at 3:30 pm in the College Auditorium. Mr. S. Manikandan, Technical Manager, Rumango Software Solutions, Bengaluru, consented to be the Resource Person. He delivered a talk on Be a Wanderlust. The talk focused on the significance of travelling. The talk also highlighted the acquisition of skills and values obtained from travelling. The Principal Dr. S M Abdul Kader and the Vice Principal Dr SMA Syed Muhammed Khaja, the Dean of Arts Dr. S Mohamed Haneef and the faculty from the Department of English were present in the function.
