Mohamed Hussain, Formerly Head of the Department of History, Sadakathullah Appa College, spoke on The Purpose of History. The Department also organized a State Level Workshop on Travel Management on 18.08.2016. Dr. R. Antony Paul, Associate Professor and Head, Department of History; Arul Anandar College, Karumathur, Madurai; Dr. R. Santha Kumari, Principal, M.S. University Constituent College, Sathankulam; Dr. A. Kumaraswamy, Associate Professor, PG and Research Department of History, V.O.C. College, Thoothukudi; Rtn. N. S. Akbar Ali, Director, Akbar Travels, Tirunelveli; and Dr. P. Sermakani, Head, Department of History, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, were the Resource persons.
