Activities - (2018-2019)

The Department of History inaugurated its Association on 26.07.2018 with the inaugural address of Mr. M.A.C. Mohamed Saleem, Former Head, Hajee Karutha Rowthar Howdhi College, Uthamapalayam, Theni, on the topic, Importance of History. A guest lecture was arranged by the department on 13.08.2018, where Mr. G, Atheesh, Documentary Film Director, Free Lancer, Chennai, was the resource person and gave a lecture titled, Distortion of History. The department also organized a national workshop on 20.03.2019 with the title Beyond the Dominant Narratives New Themes in History.
