The Inauguration of the Association of the Department of IT was held on 9th September 2016,on Friday at 4.30 p.m. in the college Seminar Hall.Dr.B.BenesonThilagarChristadoss Ph.D., Associate Professor of English Co-ordinator, Placement Cell, St.John’s College,was the Resource Person. He delivered the key note address on “SELL YOUR SELF”. One Hundred students from first, second and third year of Information Technology department participated in the program.
The State Level Technical Symposium, organisedby the Department of Computer Science (SF), BCA and Information Technology, was held on 12th March 2016 in the college Seminar Hall. Around 15 colleges from Tamil Nadu participated and the events are Paper Presentation, E-waste, Stress Interview, Word Hunt, Debugging and Software Marketing. Around 200 students participated in the event.
The One Day Inter College Workshop was organised on 26th September 2016 conducted by the Department of Computer Science (SF), BCA and Information Technology, in the college Seminar Hall. The Resource Persons are Y.MohamedSirajudeenYoosuf, C.Muralidharan, Research Scholars, Don Research Laboratory, Department of CSE, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai.150 students participated in the program. The students gained their knowledge in the technical field of Bigdata.
