The Department of Mathematics inaugurated its Association on 11.08.2016 with Dr. A. Abdul Kader, the Director of Self Financing Courses, Sadakathullah Appa College, delivering a special lecture on Mind that Matters. The Department also organized a Guest Lecture on Fundamentals in Topology on 26.08.2016 with Dr. K. Dass, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, M.D.T. Hindu College, Tirunelveli, as the guest of honour. A UGC-sponsored State Level Workshop on Aptitude Skill Development was organized on 15.09.2016.
