About the Department

The Aided Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1972.During the academic year 2007-2008, the department was upgraded as a post graduate department by starting M.Sc Mathematics in the Unaided Stream. In the year 2015, B.Sc Mathematics (Unaided Course) was started and from the academic year 2017-2018 M.Phil in Mathematics has been Started and Ph.D programme was started in the year 2018. At present, Unaided department has 182 students and 7 dedicated faculty members .Mathematicians associations provides a platform for the students to exhibit their academic talents and their leadership qualities by participating in and conducting competitions.
