The Department of Mathematics (Unaided) inaugurated its Association on 31.07.2017 with Mr. S. Shahul Hameed, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Sadakathullah Appa College, delivering a special lecture on Statistics – A Real Big Boss. The Department also organized a Guest Lecture on Problem Solving in Algebra on 20.09.2017 with Dr. M. Sattanathan, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Einstein College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, as the guest of honour. A National Conference on Innovations in Mathematics (NCIM – 2018) was organized on 09.02.2018. Dr. R. Kala, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli; Dr. V. Shanthi, Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology, Trichy; Dr. V. Murugan, Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Karnataka; and Dr. J. Paulraj Joseph, Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, were the Resource Persons.
