The Department of Mathematics (Unaided) inaugurated its Association lecture on 03.08.2019 in the presence of Dr. M.Suresh Kumar, Assistant Professor, The Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed to be University), Dindigul, who delivered a lecture on, “An Introduction to Iterated Function System”. The Department also organised a guest lecture on 28.09.2019 by Dr. A. Rizwana, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar , was the invited speaker She gave a lecture on the topic, “Applications of Chemical Graph Theory”
The Department also organized a National Seminar on “Recent Trends in Graphs” as its theme on 05.02.2020. Dr. T. Kavaskar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Central University of Tamilnadu, Thiruvarur and Dr. T. J. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala were the invited guest speakers. They spoke on the nuances of recent trends and applications in Graph.
