The Department of Arabic (Aided) inaugurated its Association on August 24, 2015. Moulavi S.S. Haider Ali Aalim, the then Principal of Usmaniya Arabic College, delivered a lecture on Nurturing Islamic Values.

The second guest lecture was organized on December 22, 2015. Dr. S. Abdul Maliq, the former Principal of The New College, was the Guest of Honour.

He spoke on Lessons and Teachings from Histories Revealed in the Holy Qur’an. The Department also conducted a Quiz Programme on 16.02.2016 with Mr. M. Sheik Mohamed Ilyas of M.S.S. Wakf Board College, Madurai, gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

The Department of Islamic Studies (Uaided) inaugurated its Association on August 25, 2015. Prof. A. Abdul Haiyu, was the chief guest. The Department organized its first Guest Lecture on 14.10.2015. Er. A.P.M Abdul Kader, was the Resource Person.

The Department conducted its second Guest lecture on 07.10.2015 and the guest speaker was Moulana. M.Y. Humayoon Kabeer Alim Usman.
