Activities (2016-2017)

The Research Department of English inaugurated its Literary Association with Dr. A. Shagirdha Begam, Formerly Associate Professor of History, Sadakathullah Appa College, after delivering a lecture on Values and Visions for Life on 15.10.2016.

The Department also conducted a UGC-sponsored State Level Seminar on Twenty-first Century Fiction on 30.01.2017. Dr. R. Chakkaravarthy, Associate Professor and Head, GTN Arts College, Dindugal, Dr. V. P. Anvar Sadhath, The New College, Chennai, Dr. R. Jeya Sundara Raj, St. John’s College, Palayamkottai, Dr. P.K. Kalyani, M.S. University, Tirunelveli, and Dr. A. Nihamathullah, Formerly Head of the Department of English, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli, were the resource persons.
