The PG and Research Department of Microbiology Association inauguration was held on 26th August 2022. The programmewas chaired by Dr.S.M.Abdul Kader, Principal &Dr.S.M.A.Syed Mohammed Khaja, Vice Principal of our college. Dr. A. Peer Mohideen, Assistant Professor of Immunology, College of Medicine, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the chief guest and he delivered a lecture on “Therapeutic Antibodies for Infectious Diseases”. A Guest Lecture was also organized on September 2022. Dr. R. Janet Rani, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. Dr. S.M. Abdul Kader, Principal of the college presided over the programme; he cherished the alumni's of Microbiology department and their international placements. He appreciated the Head of the Microbiology for upgrading the department to research department and he mentioned that the Microbiology department is the only self-finance research department among the other self-finance departments. Dr. S.M.A. Syed Mohamed Khaja, Vice principal of the college felicitated the gathering. Dr. K. Chitra, Assistant Professor introduced the chief guest. Dr. A.
