Activities - (2018-2019)

The PG and Research Department of Microbiology inaugurated its Association for the academic year 2018 on August 06. Dr. Muralidharan, Assistant Professor, Sri Paramakalyani Centre for Environmental Sciences, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Alwarkurichi, was the chief guest and delivered a lecture on Microbes-Engine of Ecosystem Function. The department, subsequently, organized a National Seminar on September 19 with the title National Seminar on Biopolymer. Dr. S. G. Prakash Vincent, Professor and Head, Centre for Marine Science and Technology, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Kanyakumari; and Dr. M. Senthil Sankar, Associate Scientist, Medgenome Labs, Kochin, were the resource persons. Almost 110 participants from various colleges benefitted from the seminar..
