The Department of Physics inaugurated Physics Association on 24.10.2016. Dr.M.Mohamed Sathik, Principal of our college presided over the programme. Mr.S.Syed Ibrahim, Professor, Department of Physics from Shaqra University, delivered a special lecture on “ Environmental Hazards and its impact on human health”.
A one-day National Seminar was organized by the Department of Physics on 6th March, 2017. Welcome address was given by Mr. K. Rabi Ahamed, Head of the Department. Alhaj. T. E. S. Fathu Rabbani, Secretary & Correspondent presided over the programme. Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal, felicitated the gathering. Inaugural address was given by Dr. K. Ganesan, Professor, Department of Physics, Manonmaniam Sundarnar University, Tirunelveli. Dr. M. Mahendran, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai delivered the key note address. Dr. R. Kalai Selvan , Assistant Professor of Physics, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Dr. M. Mahendran, Associate Professor of Physics & Associate Dean (Research) Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, Dr. M. Junaid Bushiri, Professor & Head, Department of Physics, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi and Dr. D. E. Jain Ruth, Department of Physics, Pondicherry University, Puducherry acted as the resource persons. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks by Professor M. Mohamed Sathak.
