The Department of Physics inaugurated Physics Association on 9.10.2017. Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal of our college, presided over the programme. Dr. A. Abdul Kader, Director of Un Aided courses, felicitated the gathering. Dr. V. Chinnathambi, Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Physics, Sadakathullah Appa College, delivered a special lecture on the topic “On Choas, Solitons and Fractals”.
National seminar on “Recent Trends in Material Science-2018” was organised by the Department of Physics on 9thMarch, 2018.Mr. K. Rabi Ahamed, Head, Department of Physics, welcomed the gathering. Dr. S. H. Mohamed Ameen, Assistant Professor, introduced the theme of the seminar. Dr. M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal of our college, presided over the programme. Dr. A. Abdul Kader, Director of Unaided courses, felicitated the gathering. Inaugural address was given by Dr. S. Beer Mohamed, Associate Professor, Department of Materials Science, School of Technology, Central University of Tamilnadu, Thiruvarur. Dr. S. Beer Mohamed, Associate professor, Department of Materials Science, School of Technology, Central university of Tamil nadu, Thiruvarur, Dr. S. Meenakshi Sundar, Associate professor and Head, PG & Research Department of Physics, Sri Paramakalyani College, Alwar Kurichi, Tirunelveli District., and Dr. Ginson P. Joseph , Assistant Professor , Department of Physics, Pala, Kottayam District , Kerala acted as the resource persons. Valedictory address was given by Dr. F. Jeyamangalam, Associate Professor of Physics from Sarah Tucker College.
