The department organized exhibition cum conference on 6-3-2021 titled, “Inhabiting Birds of Thamirabarani”. Mr.M.Mathivanan, Coordinator, Agasthiyamalai Community Conservation Centre, Manimuthar, Tirunelveli and Mrs.SivaSathiyavalli, District Curator, Government Museum, Tirunelveli. Posters were exhibited and presented by I B.Sc Zoology students.
Government Museum Tirunelveli and Department of Zoology organized a webinar on “Hypertension and Cardio Vascular Health” on 17-5-2021. Dr.M. Mohamed Sathik, Principal presided the seminar. Dr. E. Arunachalam, MD DM Cardio and Dr. Prof. Hemamalini A.J. Head of the Department, Medical Nutrition SRI Ramachandra, Medical College, Chennai delivered the talk.
Department of Zoology and Department of Botany organized State level webinar on the theme Delicious and Medicinal Mushroom Culture Techniques- Lab to Farm Approach on 28-6-2021.
